Bizcommunity Africa journo wins top award
Walter Wafula, Ugandan correspondent for Bizcommunity Africa and journalist under The Monitor Publications, publisher of The Monitor and Sunday Monitor, has been awarded Overall Winner of the 2010 Kikonyogo Capital Markets Awards (KCMA) and the winner of KCMA for Financial Journalism in the print category. Wafula wins the grand prize consisting of a three-day all-expenses-paid study-trip to South Africa, in addition to Shs1 million (US$500) worth of company shares at the Uganda Securities Exchange.
