SA finalists in African Journalist competition

South Africa is well represented among the finalists to the CNN African Journalist of the Year Competition. In the running for top honours is the SABC's Sara Blecher and Angie Kapelianis, the Mail & Guardian's Khadija Magardie, and Susan Purén from Carte Blanche M-Net/DSTv. The winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony at the Sandton Convention Centre on 15 May 2002.
