Sanef worries over Mathatha Tsedu's SABC announcement
The South African National Editors Forum (Sanef) has expressed concern over Mathatha Tsedu's announcement about the need for drastic measures to deal with the South African Broadcasting Corporation's (SABC) dire financial situation.
The SABC board member confirmed that by February 2019 the SABC will not be able to pay full salaries and that by March 2019 their Day Zero will occur if nothing happens.
Sanef calls on the government to urgently address the immediate cashflow problems at the SABC.
