Report employment scams to ASA
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) of SA recently welcomed a new regulation from the Department of Trade and Industry, which makes various work from home “opportunities” illegal. These include opportunities to “fill envelopes” and “type labels” – two scams against which the ASA has issued various rulings. Complaints against such ads may be lodged with the ASA on or fax +27 (0)11 781 1616.
