UpStream launch
UpStream Management Services was launched on Wednesday on 19 September, 2007 at Fairlawns hotel in Morningside, Sandton. The launch was attended by property industry players and representatives from banks.
UpStream Management Services is the brainchild of Andrew Gillibrand. The company conceived the innovative idea to minimise the risk of those wishing to invest in the South African residential property market. It helps owners in the buy-to-let market mitigate the risk of not receiving any rental income and initiates the legal process when tenants default, thereby ensuring a steady income throughout the term of the UpStream contract.
