Five Roses High Tea at The Westcliff

Five Roses recently held their high tea event at The Westcliff. The event took place on Tuesday, 31 July 2007. Reggie Rajiah, who is the Five Roses tea master, was there to offer media a hands on experience in tea tasting.

Five Roses teamed up with culinary doyenne Annete Kessler of showcook.com for the high tea campaign: "High Teas in Town and Country." Three high tea events were held and hosted at luxury SA hotels including The Westcliff in Johannesburg, Mount Nelson in Cape Town and Mont Rochelle in Franschoek. Five Roses tea master Reggie Rajiah and assistant tea taster Hlengiwe Gcabashe held a tea tasting and fascinating talk on the history of tea, while the pastry chefs at each hotel create a delectable high tea feast.
