Fly the South African Flag campaign
Moretele Park in Tshwane was abuzz with excitement when SABC and International Marketing Council (IMC) launched the fly the South African Flag campaign.
This partnership between SABC and the International Marketing Council (IMC), celebrated six years since the announcement of South Africa as the 2010 FIFA World Cup(tm) host country.
SABC listeners and viewers were invited to come and enjoy the festivities in the presence of their favourite SABC personalities like Kaos from Selimathunzi; Fame and Twasa from Jam Alley, Sophie Ndaba from Generations and Lesedi FM.
The public was invited to participate by following the motorcade which will include the SABC helicopter, 50 Harley Davidson motor bikers, Diski dancers to name a few which commenced at 11am from the German School and culminated at Moretele Park. The celebration was open to the public free of charge and the community was encouraged to come and enjoy the festivities with a cooler box and camper chair.
