Santam honours brokers at annual Great Umbrella Ball

The themed event was held to honour its top national brokers for outstanding achievements during the past year. Regional brokers were honoured at separate functions in their respective regions.

Ian Kirk Santam CE says, “For Santam the contribution of our brokers and business partners to our success is invaluable. It is only fitting therefore that we should pay tribute to these partners and reward those who have excelled in many ways though an ongoing process of reinvention”.

These are people who know what it takes to make it big in the short-term insurance world, and then know when to turn that knowledge on its head and consider other ways of growing their business”, Kirk concluded.

The winners in each of the six nominated categories were:

National Broker of the Year: Commercial Lines - Absa Insurance and Financial Advisers
National Broker of the Year: Specialist Business - Marsh
National Broker of the Year: Agriculture - Afgri Insurance Brokers
Administrator of the Year - Brolink
Underwriting manager of the Year - Stalker Hutchison Admiral
