Cavendish Square hosts Good Hope FM Christmas CD launch
Good Hope FM partnered with Cape Town Sound to release a special Christmas CD, titled ‘A Good Hope FM Christmas'. The CD was launched during Good Hope FM's Cape Town Live event at Cavendish Square on Thursday, 19 November 2009.
Top local artists featured on the CD, including Coda, The Black Ties, Edith, Acoustica, Akili, Richard Ceasar, Karen Kortjie, Monique Hellenberg and Byron Clarke took the stage each with their own unique style, filling Cavendish with the sound and spirit of Christmas. Guests were also treated to a heart-warming performance by the NAC Children's Choir from Cape Town.
VIP guests in attendance included, South African jazz legend Jimmy Dludlu and his wife Liz. Good Hope FM Station Manager, Natano Brache along with other members of the Good Hope FM team such as Nigel Pierce, Suga and Grant Lesch.
Theresa Terblanche from Newlands won a VIP experience compliments of Cavendish Square, Good Hope FM and Col'Cacchio Cavendish. Theresa, her husband and friends were treated to a delicious dinner at Col'Cacchio's whilst watching the live performances from their front row seats. They also received an autographed copy of the CD to enjoy this Christmas, compliments of Good Hope FM.
The CD is available at Look ‘n Listen Cavendish and most of the big CD retail stores, initially in the Western Cape and will be available nationwide at a later stage.
