Tourism conference this week in Joburg

The tourism industry 'Uhambo lwako 2010 - Your Journey Beyond 2010', taking place at the Cocoa-Cola Dome in Northgate, Johannesburg, on 10 September 2010, has announced new speakers to its line-up.

The new additions to the line-up are: are William Price, global manager of SA Tourism's e-marketing division, Thembi Kunene of the Tourism Grading Council and Alan Vels, MD of Signature Life Hotels.

The conference, sponsored by Cape Town Tourism, will explore the current trends and opportunities in the tourism industry during the daylong trade symposium. Other speakers include Mariëtte du Toit-Hembold, CEO of Cape Town Tourism; Robyn Christie, CEO of the Association of SA Travel Agents (ASATA) and Jennifer Seif, executive director of the Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa (FTTSA).
