Joburg Film Festival Content Series: Tshepiso Phiri
The Joburg Film Festival powered by Multichoice is an annual six-day festival, running from Tuesday, 31 January - Sunday, 5 February 2023, that showcases the best in global cinema and celebrates African cinematic excellence, hosted in the City of Gold.
Now in its fifth year, the festival aims to be Africa’s Premier film festival by showcasing 60 expertly curated commercial and author-driven narrative films including animation, documentaries, and features. Sipho Ngwenya who is the content operations senior manager at MultiChoice, sat down with some of Africa's most loved storyteller's in a one-on-one conversation, unpacking their journey and contribution to the film industry.
