Taking a fresh look at what value wines are, the US based World Value Wine Challenge provides a comprehensive guide for wines retailing at $20 and under, which reflect the quality of higher priced wines for value-conscious American consumers in search of the best wines for their budget.

"As quality varietal wines that don't take themselves too seriously, it has evolved into a global brand associated with adventure and a sense of fun. It is excellent to be recognised for creating a quality, pocket friendly wine in this category which represents 90% of all wines sold in the US," says global marketing manager, Tania Kotze.

The Chardonnay is available countrywide at around R28 per bottle. For more information, go to www.obikwa.com.
