JD Group profit seen higher

JD Group advised on Monday that its headline earnings per share and earnings per share attributable to shareholders for the 12 months ended August 2011 are expected to be between 400 cents per share and 410 cents per share. The headline earnings per share and earnings per share for the previous corresponding period were 303.6 cents per share and 304.9 cents per share respectively.

The results include Unitrans Auto and Steinbuild for two months, however, their results did not have a material impact on headline earnings per share as an additional 49.3 million shares were issued in consideration for the acquisition.

The group's results will be released on 14 November.
