Waka Waka wines for Germany
Perdeberg Winery will produce a range of wines known as Waka Waka for its new German partner REH Kendermann for the German and international market. The range will initially offer three wines: a Sauvignon Blanc/Chenin Blanc, a Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon and a Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon blend. They will be available from May 2011, priced at around EUR 4.99 per bottle.
Marketing director of REH Kendermann, Alexander Rittlinger, explains, "After an extensive screening process, we decided to choose Perdeberg Winery in Paarl as it has produced a Chenin Blanc, which has won the most awards in South Africa. It consistently delivers exceptional quality, which proves its slogan - 'the trusted brand with more quality at any price'."
