Sister to the famed Decanter World Wine Awards, the DAWA is Asia's largest wine competition and received more than 2300 entries this year. The 2013 DAWA judging panel comprised 40 leading wine commentators from across Asia.

The line-up of international awards for Fleur du Cap Noble Late Harvest range from a trophy from the Decanter World Wine Awards in London earlier this year for Best South African Sweet Wine under £15 to a Gold Outstanding medal at the 2012 International Wine &Spirits Competition. On home turf, the 2011 vintage was the sixth consecutive vintage to achieve 5-stars from the Platter's South African Wines, the only wine ever to have achieved this in the history of this definitive guide.
A blend of Chenin Blanc (76%), Sauvignon Blanc (13%) and Chardonnay (11%), it is available at boutique wine stores and the Fleur du Cap cellar door at Die Bergkelder in Stellenbosch at around R119 per bottle.
