ACA appoints new ceo

The Association for Communication and Advertising (ACA) has appointed Zandile Nzalo as CEO, effective 1 August 2005. Nzalo joins the ACA from Zanenza Communications, where she was the founder and MD for three years.

Her credentials in communications and media include media director for Love Life; and head of programming, operations manager and then general manager for M-Net's Channel O.

Nzalo was awarded Top Emerging Female Entrepreneur, Top Women in Business and Government Awards - 2004; she was a finalist in the Cosmopolitan Standard Bank Movers & Shakers Award - 2003; and was nominated for the Shoprite Checkers / SABC2 Women of the Year Award for 2005, in the Business Entrepreneur Category.

Maserame Mouyeme, chairperson of the ACA, says: "Zandile has excellent experience and I have no doubt that she will make a significant contribution to our industry. Her wealth of experience, understanding and wisdom will be key in shaping the ACA and its delivery going forward.
