The channel is known for its top quality, award-winning documentaries, which push the boundaries of how we understand our world. However, there is more for viewers to experience as the National Geographic Channel launches a new weekly line-up, loads of premieres, special theme days, global specials, and so on.
Oracle Airtimes Sales' Melinda Naicker, says this change in the programming format makes sponsorships a much more attractive buy on the channel. She explains that genre strands are now stripped throughout the week and themed nights start from 21H00 - 24H00.
Some of the theme nights to look out for include 'Adventure Mondays' (watch other people's lives flash before your eyes), 'Wild Tuesdays' (the world's best wildlife) and 'High Risk Friday' ( non-stop, death-defying action).
