AUTOsavvy launches dealer management system

AUTOsavvy recently announced the launch of their state-of-the-art dealer management software to the market. This innovative business management solution was designed by South African industry experts to give motor dealerships more control of their business functions with less effort and at a fraction of the cost.

Developing smart solutions that simplify business processes is no new feat for the AUTOsavvy team, who have spent decades combining their extensive knowledge of business management and computer technology along with hands-on experience in the automotive field to transform the way dealerships work.

While many systems are currently on the market that give dealerships a central point for handling certain functions, such as stockholding or invoicing, AUTOsavvy integrates all the functions of running a dealership, from stock to floor plan management, invoicing and account payment, sales and staff activity management, and website integration, into one, easy-to-use system.

Need to be in control

The driving notion behind the creation of the AUTOsavvy system was founded on the need for South African dealerships to be more in control of their business activities, which are all interlinked and constantly in flux as vehicles come and go. AUTOsavvy allows dealerships to optimise processes, improve dealership administration and work more efficiently and professionally, all while lowering operation costs and increasing sales performance.

Before the system was released, AUTOsavvy initiated a pilot programme to assess its effectiveness in the marketplace. The purpose of the pilot programme was to ensure that the system satisfied all criteria expected by the typical dealership and to work out any weaknesses that were found, ultimately ensuring an end product that delivers on functionality, performance and cost effectiveness.

Feedback from dealers

Three reputable dealerships from the East Rand in Gauteng were approached to test out the AUTOsavvy Dealer System, namely Autohaus, Proline Motors and Taylor-Made Motors. The system was well-received by the dealerships and the feedback that was received more than proved its value. "Before, we were out of place, but the AUTOsavvy system has made it more convenient for us to manage the business on a more professional basis" said Proline Motors owner, Adriaan Nel. "AUTOsavvy gives you access to the same functions as more complex systems on offer at a more affordable price".

According to Johan Hendriksz of Taylor-Made Motors, "AUTOsavvy makes the process much easier because everything is on PC, therefore there is less need for paperwork, and deals can be closed quicker," according to Johan Hendriksz of Taylor-Made Motors. Barend Muller of Autohaus stated that he knows a lot of systems, and out of those systems, AUTOsavvy has the edge as an end-to-end system that gives you more management control.
