Young audiences and the young at heart are invited to experience the magic of singing and dancing along to favourite nursery rhymes like Humpty Dumpty, Hey Diddle Diddle, the Cat and the Fiddle, Old MacDonald had a Farm, and many more.

Says Robin van Wyk, Artistic Director of the Cape Town City Ballet: "This delightful ballet incorporates a whopping 32 nursery rhymes and in the world of Humpty Dumpty and Friends everyone lives happily ever after! With characters like Jack and Jill, Little Miss Muffet and Itsy Bitsy Spider the dancers are having enormous fun bringing all the childhood characters to life in glorious dance.'

Humpty Dumpty and Friends will enjoy a short season of only five performances at the Artscape Theatre so audiences are advised to book early in order to avoid disappointment. Performances take place at 11am or 2pm.
