Awards for the art of business

All businesses operating in South Africa, large or small, are invited to enter the 2005 Business Day/BASA Awards for innovative and effective sponsorship of the arts. The annual awards, sponsored for the second year by Anglo American, recognise creative business thinking and identify partnerships that go beyond simple chequebook sponsorship to make a difference to both sponsor and recipient.

Arts and cultural sponsorship spend continues to grow and the awards illustrate how effective and viable a business communications tool the arts are. This is increasingly important in the light of the King 2 report.

There are 12 award categories, including the Chairman's Award for sustained excellence, and entry forms may be completed by the sponsoring company and/or the arts organisation.
