The programme will be offered through the Wits Business School and the VEGA School of Brand Leadership at their respective campuses in Johannesburg. The board exam will take place on 14 April 2012.
The evaluation programme is recommended for senior marketers who have a recognised degree in marketing and at least five years in the discipline; three of which have been at a senior level. Those who do not hold marketing degrees are also welcome, provided they have 10 years' experience, half of which has been held in a senior post.
The CMSA programme aims to enhance the stature of the marketing profession, by ensuring that it can be measured against a set professional standard as well as to ensure that professional marketers have the skills and support required to be accountable and assume responsibility for their company's brand values and reputation.
