New head of marketing, research at Kagiso
Kagiso Msimango has been promoted to head of research, trade and consumer marketing of the broadcasting division of Kagiso Media. She is also in charge of driving the company's innovation initiative throughout the group.

Prior to her promotion, she was the group executive for Kagiso Broadcasting where she was responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational activities of its radio stations East Coast Radio, Jacaranda 94.2, OFM, Heart 104.9 and iGagasi, as well as radio airtime sales house Radmark.
"The two portfolios perfectly complement each other as they are both highly driven by insights. With her experience in managing the brand and as a board member for various Kagiso interests, we believe that she is the best person to champion these disciplines," says Omar Essack, Kagiso Broadcasting's CEO and Kagiso Media executive director.
