Event greening workshop returns to Gauteng

The training is aimed at professionals within the events and exhibition industry who have an interest in incorporating green principles in their line of work. Greening is a relatively new focus in the industry and has not been incorporated into most tertiary event management qualifications.

However, it is gaining traction as more and more people acknowledge that greening is not a fad but an essential ingredient for truly sustainable growth. In addition to this, it is an appealing selling point for many clients where two event organisers are offering an otherwise similar service.

The training will be presented in two interactive sessions; a beginner's session in the morning and a more advanced session in the afternoon. Either one or both sessions can be attended, depending on the individual's requirements.

The Tshwane training session will cost R775 per person, and will include a light lunch, while the Johannesburg training session is broken into a half-day session, either the morning of afternoon, which will cost R525 per person, and the full-day workshop will cost R775.
