Culinary students will play a role in assisting celebrity chefs during their demonstrations. Hospitality Management and Hotel Operations students will also play their parts in floor management side, helping maintain the flow of demonstrations over the period of the show.
Ruth Paulsen, marketing manager of The International Hotel School explains, "The Good Food and Wine Show gives our students a fantastic opportunity to work with celebrity chefs and they gain so much from it!"
High profile chefs visiting Durban this year include TV personality James Martin, Vivek Singh of London's Cinnamon Club who has transformed the face of Indian cooking, Anjali Pathak, an exciting talent in the Indian food and spice arena and part of the famous Patak spice family and vegan baker, Melissa Morgan, who is known to her legions of fans around the world as Ms Cupcake.
