CareerJunction launches iTalent

iTalent is a new business unit of CareerJunction created specifically to cater for the growing need for customised corporate recruitment technology in South Africa and to provide online software solutions for addressing the requirements of intranets and corporate website recruitment processes. iTalent was officially announced last week at breakfast functions held in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

A growing number of companies already use online recruitment to their advantage as they realise the significance of being able to leverage the power of their corporate brand, together with the reach of the Internet, to better attract top-quality candidates and to enable them to manage both their internal and external recruitment processes more efficiently.

"These companies are claiming considerable savings in their time and cost of hire and huge increases in the number of quality responses that they receive to their online Job Ads," says Kris Jarzebowksi, MD of CareerJunction.

Research indicates that 94% of Fortune 500 Companies already recruit online and, in South Africa the trend to develop an online recruitment strategy is growing rapidly. "As a result, there is an increasing need from corporate South Africa for customised Information technology recruitment solutions," says Jarzebowski.

"CareerJunction is developing an entirely new technology for iTalent and will make these technology solutions available to the corporate market through a reseller programme, as well as directly through iTalent," says Jarzebowski.

iTalent can already offer a variety of scaleable online recruitment solutions ranging from intranet and own website offerings to services through which companies can advertise vacancies via iTalent on the CareerJunction website. With a proper understanding of a company's requirements, iTalent can scale a solution to meet most corporate requirements.

In addition to the provision of technology, iTalent also provides an independent, non-product related professional assessment service that is designed to assist companies in making a successful transition from a traditional recruitment methodology to an online recruitment solution.

"This assessment service will be extremely valuable to companies that want to understand the benefits of online recruitment before rushing in to purchasing a technology" explains Jarzebowski.
