The judges, Joshua Davis [Praystation - New York], Tom Roope [Tomato - London], Lewis Blackwell [Getty Images - London], and Hans Bernhard [Ubermorgen -Vienna], presented the finalists and winners at the ceremony. They were particularly impressed with the quality of the Student work and awarded two Gold winners in the category that was judged across all 4 disciplines. In total they awarded 8 Gold winners as well as the Grand Prix.
In its second year running, the Construction New Media Awards, a Cape Town-based initiative organised in association with the International Design Indaba, has aimed to celebrate and elevate the status of South African new media design. Having our work judged by our international peers can only achieve this and it is fitting to see that this highly acclaimed list of judges expressed that they would have been proud to have produced the award-winning work themselves.
