Google introduces its new logo

This comes after the massive restructuring in the company when it introduced Alphabet, Google's new parent company.

Google celebrated the new logo by added it as today's doodle. The animation wipes away the old and draws the new design we'll all come to know. Already the change has been spotted within Google+, the regular search icon and the company's Twitter profile.

Google has changed things up many times over the last 17 years, and has evolved from being just a search engine to so much more.
