Team workshop for Cup participants
The pre-tournament World Cup team workshop, the largest and most important session in the run-up to the 2010 finals, will take place at Sun City on 22-24 February 2010. So far, 20 out of the 32 national team head coaches have confirmed their attendance.
The workshop is a crucial meeting for the head coaches, team managers and general secretaries and is a mandatory appointment for the official and technical specialists, including media officers, security managers and team doctors. It will provide a detailed introduction and insight for the teams on every aspect of the tournament organisation and each delegation will comprise up to eight persons.
Prior to the workshop, the team doctors will attend the 3rd International Football Medicine Conference also taking place at Sun City from 19-21 February 2010.
The workshop media activities will begin on Monday 22 February at 10am with the opening of the media centre but these activities are only available for media representatives accredited before the deadline, which has now closed.
