ID Advertising rebrands as Limbik Responding Creative
People, places and products have changed their names for many obvious and also some eccentric reasons over time. Most of all to promote a change in direction or offering, similar to the packaging updates of products we're so accustomed to. In the game of branding, design and advertising, we're no strangers to this. Peoples' needs have shifted from an emphasis on what it has and what it does, to what you'll feel and who you are. This calls for constant regeneration in order to stay alive and dynamic.
Five years down the line, thousands of invoices later, and half a terabyte of work on our server, we too felt the need to reposition and reinvent our perceptual frame of view. It's been brewing for quite some time and we explored many possibilities; keeping in mind the words of Winston Churchill, “There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction”.
Going forward, that direction for us will be driven by a balance of strategy (logic) and creativity (magic) to produce value-adding work. Be it for employers that want to create an inspired employee culture, or for brands that want to engage consumers and customers in a dynamic way.
To this extent, our new name supports our approach on how people respond to ideas and the conversations this can create. Limbik is the phonetic spelling of Limbic - a structure in the brain that essentially controls the way we react and feel.
We're very excited about this change and are confident that it will contribute to our future success. Thank you to everyone who has connected with ID over the years, we hope to hear, see and feel more with you as Limbik Responding Creative.
