Pixel Project installs Slave Lodge Exhibit
Pixel Project is currently installing one of the rooms at the Slave Lodge Exhibit in the Cultural History Museum, Cape Town. It uses 360 surround visuals with still projectors and digital projectors all controlled with a serial light box. It also runs surround sound. The visuals are being projected onto glass panels on all four walls. The glass panels have prints of the interior of the Slave Lodge Courtyard.
Jos Thorne is the Exhibit designer on the Project and they worked in conjunction with Ralph Borland who is the Physical Computing lecturer at Michaelis. The exhibit opens in December.
