33 Degrees Interactive wins London-based business

33 Degrees Interactive has been awarded the contract to assist sound specialists Pioneer Europe with the Global rollout of an innovative range of DJ Products into the European market. The latest release is the DMP-555, the world's first digital media player with integrated CD, MP3 and SD card functionality. 33 Degrees MD, Pete de Bruin is extremely excited at this breakthrough into the tough UK market. "We are developing an online interactive demo highlighting the features of the product incorporating sound and visuals. We are also making this available across multiple platforms including a CD-Rom and on the Internet"

It is useful to note the perception that South African based interactive companies can offer more cost effective solutions in this highly competitive market is no longer necessarily valid. "We pitched along with other London-based agencies. It was our understanding of Pioneers brand, how to extend this onto the Internet, and our innovative use of animation across multi-media that won us the work. We weren't the lowest priced," says de Bruin.

33 Degrees, a satellite partner of Berry Bush BBDO, has been engaged to assist Pioneer with five more global rollouts of similar products through to February next year.
