Avis drives world class golfers
Avis has once again been selected as exclusive car rental supplier to the Women's World Cup of Golf, a US$1 million tournament now ranked as one of the world's toughest and most inspiring golfing events.
Avis joins other leading brands such as SAA and Sentech in welcoming 40 international golfing greats to the Gary Player Country Club at Sun City from the 20th to 22nd of January 2006. Among them is the world's top female golfer Annika Sorenstam who will be participating in the event for the first time.
Avis has a long-standing association with golf, having supported the Nedbank Challenge since its inception 25 years ago. Avis's sponsorship focus is now predominantly on women's sporting events such as the Avis International Ladies Polo.
