Responsibilities:
- Design and lead end-to-end data science projects aligned with client objectives.
- Provide strategic consulting grounded in data analytics and alternative data insights.
- Develop predictive models, data products, and forecasting tools.
- Translate data insights into actionable business strategies for clients.
- Lead project teams and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Develop performance metrics and communicate results via dashboards and reports.
- Support business development through client engagement, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Bachelor's degree in Data science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (Postgraduate preferred).
- 5+ years in a senior data science role, including leadership of projects and teams.
- 2+ years in strategic or management consulting with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure ML, PySpark, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
- Proven ability to build and orchestrate Synapse Pipelines (SQL, Spark, APIs).
- Advantageous: Azure Data Scientist Associate certification, experience in banking/insurance pricing or risk models.
- Passion for staying ahead in AI, ML, and alternative data trends.
