Yet another successful activation season for Varsity Vibe

In addition to warmer weather and the official welcome of the Spring season, the first week of September brought the conclusion of the second semester Varsity Vibe campus activations. Each semester presents our organisation with the opportunity to introduce our platform to potential members while reinforcing the value our brand partners bring to longstanding Varsity Vibe members and to the student community at large.

We cannot thank the partners who took part in these activations enough – Standard Bank, Virgin Active, Krispy Kreme, The FIX, Samsung, Side Step, H&M and Uber – as none of what we’ve achieved would be possible in their absence.

Yet another successful activation season for Varsity Vibe

Reaching just over 11,460 students across seven provinces, our second semester activations took place across 14 universities and 16 campuses including TUT Pretoria, TUT Polokwane, the University of the Free State, CUT Bloemfontein, North-West University, the University of the Witwatersrand, the University of Pretoria, the University of Johannesburg, UKZN Westville, UKZN Howard, Nelson Mandela University, the University of Cape Town, Stellenbosch University, and the University of the Western Cape.

As our organisation grows in membership, brand partnerships and in impact as a consequence, our goal remains constant – to extend the advantages that come with the use of our platform to as many students as possible. Accordingly, Varsity Vibe is proud to have included two new campuses to our activation roster this semester – Vaal University of Technology and Eduvos Tygervalley.

Our seven activation marks not only over a dozen campus appearances over the years but also commemorates the hard work, sacrifice, perseverance and consistency put forth by our team on the ground. In affirmation of this, our first semester campus activations received a commendation for the Best Short-Term Marketing Campaign at the Loyalty Awards held during the second week of September this year.

In an economic climate that frequently leaves the majority behind, it is a privilege to support students across South Africa who would otherwise be unable to meet their needs, and to bring to the forefront the brands who are willing to support this endeavour.
