Kantar today announced the appointment of Yasmin Kathoria as managing partner, Kantar Consulting in South Africa. She succeeds Eden Lanser, who has led the business through three consecutive years of growth. After more than two decades with Kantar, Eden will move into a consultant and advisory role, continuing to work with the business and its clients.
Yasmin joined Kantar Consulting in South Africa in 2022, most recently serving as Partner, Brand Growth Strategy. She brings nearly three decades of experience across global brand leadership and consulting, including a UK-based global directorship at Unilever, where she led teams across six continents. She has advised senior leaders on complex brand and growth challenges, combining commercial experience with a deep understanding of people, culture and behaviour. She will report to Mark Visser, global head of Kantar Consulting.
The appointment will further connect the South African business to Kantar Consulting’s global network and expertise, while strengthening its partnership with Kantar South Africa. With growth no longer a given and AI reshaping how consumers discover and buy brands, Kantar Consulting combines Kantar's unrivalled data, proprietary brand growth frameworks and senior advisory expertise to give marketing leaders the strategic intelligence their boards can trust to drive growth.
