Show profile Hide profileI am currently employed by ESKOM at the Koeberg Nuclear Power Station as the Head of Radioactive Waste Management in an acting capacity. The position entails high level liaison with regulatory bodies and government departments as well as contract negotiation with suppliers of service. Other positions I have occupied at the power station are Senior Engineering Assistant (Supervisor) in the Radioactive Waste Management Section and Principal Chemical Plant Operator in the Chemistry Group. In addition to this I've been instrumental in design and development of training material and in learning facilitation of current and new employees. The role of Corrective Action Programme co-ordinator is also a key functional output.
The Nuclear Industry is a very demanding and pressurized yet challenging environment. I am, hardworking, entirely trustworthy, a self starter and need no supervision. I have many years' laboratory-, supervisory-, training- and operating experience. In addition, I'm also a certified Learning Facilitator and Assessor. 'Attention to detail' is my motto in everything I do.
