As far as my work experience is concerned, I have more than 3 years of work experience.
The scope of my experience includes 3 years of the following; compilation of written reports, presentation of statistical information, developing compilation of plans, Using information technology systems such as CAD (computer-aided design), implementation of a GIS (Geographical Information Systems), I also worked in the IDP (Integrated Development Planning) Unit, Townships Board Establishments Unit, Land Use Management System (LUMS) Unit and the Gauteng Development Tribunal (GDT).
I was responsible for some of the following: evaluation of applications for township establishments, Rezoning, Subdivision, Township Establishment and Special Consent in terms of the applicable legislations. I am currently employed within the Development Planning and Land Use Management Statutory Board of the Department of Economic Development for the Gauteng Provincial Government.
The position of a Town Planner perfectly matches my aspirations, skills and background in property development, and I believe that I can make a significant contribution to your company.
