PROFILE:

• Cum Lauded a Bachelor Degree in Motion Picture Production at Tshwane University of Technology in 2006, within which I majored in Production Management and Directing.
• During my studies I managed to obtain 3 Years of independent and commercial experience within the South African film industry, ranging from Afrikaans drama series; to Music Videos; to a local English feature film, which was released on national cinema’s.
• Left South Africa in February 2007 to pursue two years of travel and work in London.
• Returned back to South Africa in November 2008 with a drastically broadened way of thinking and a completely changed perspective and open mind; and ready to tackle the South African Film/Television Industry.
• Overall, I am an enthusiastic and extremely hard working person, with a positive; energetic ‘can do’ attitude.
• Excellent communicative and written skills, both in English and Afrikaans.
• Punctual and loyal within, and to, any production I work on.

* 16mm Short Film made in Johannesburg for a UCLA student’s final thesis as it won best script, and once completed was entered into various International Film Festivals, starting rotation in The Los Angeles International Film Festival.

* Full length South African feature film, which was the follow up of ‘Heel Against the Head’ with the late Bill Flynn and Paul Slabolepszy. Was nationally released on Ster Kinekor cinemas and home DVD.
