Aphelele is in her passport, everyone calls her Loza. Loza is from Langa and finished high school in 2011. During her school years she joined a theatre group. Often a film crew came by and she was impressed by the professionalism.

Helping a friend with filming was Loza's first personal experience, but she still needed a gap year to find out that she really wanted to study filming. Now, after finishing two years at Big Fish School of Digital Film-making, completing a documentary about her parents, she will continue her studies documentary and television production. Loza knows exactly what her focus will be in future: human interest & politics.
She is interested in stories from the township. Though she is an all-rounder she is keenly interested in doing camera, directing, and editing.
