Robynne Kahn the new editor of Femina
Robynne Kahn has been appointed as the new editor of FEMINA magazine, published by Associated Magazines.
Robynne will take over from incumbent Clare O'Donoghue, who will be leaving the magazine in February 2005. Says Jane Raphaely, CEO of Associated Magazines, "Robynne lives and breathes the lifestyle of the typical FEMINA woman; her creative vision, tenacity, ability to get things done and talent for connecting with her target audience make her the perfect choice for FEMINA."
Robynne has been with Associated Magazines for over thirteen years, starting out in the fashion department of Cosmopolitan. She has also worked in various other capacities, including being the editor of Brides and Homes and the editor of Baby&Me, as well as styling various projects for Cosmopolitan, including Cosmo Sexy Men, CosmoJewels and CosmoRocks. Robynne has also been the editor of Fusion magazine and the SABC's TV Talk magazine.
Plans are under way to increase marketing activity, as well as to position FEMINA more strongly in the 30-something market as part of a renewed focus on the editorial development of the title.
Robynne's first issue will be the May issue and will be available on the newsstands on 20 April 2005.
