Roberto de Carvalho named CTICC executive chef
Former One & Only Cape Town resort executive chef, Roberto de Carvalho has been named the new executive chef of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). De Carvalho has been working in the food services industry for over 20 years and holds qualifications in professional cookery from the Hospitality Industries Training Board, has a diploma in professional cookery from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and has a certificate in food preparation and cooking from City and Guilds of London.
Before working at the One & Only Cape Town, De Carvalho held positions as the executive head chef at The Twelve Apostles Hotel for more than eight years and was also senior chef de partie at the Park Hyatt Rosebank. De Carvalho also spent some time running his own restaurant, Roberto's Signature Restaurant in Long Street, Cape Town.
