Carsten Spohr joins IATA board as chairman
Lufthansa Group's chief executive officer, Carsten Spohr, has joined the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) board as chairman for a one-year term, effective from the conclusion of the 75th IATA Annual General Meeting.
Spohr is the 78th chairperson of the IATA board and has served on the board since May 2014. He replaces Qatar Airways Group chief executive Akbar Al Baker.
