Clare O' Neil appointed as Discovery in Africa commercial director
Discovery Inc has announced it has appointed Clare O' Neil to the commercial director role for Discovery in Africa to drive commercial growth for the company's TV brands on the continent.
O' Neil has over 30 years of experience within the media and broadcasting industry, having started her career at the Argus Group and went on to hold positions at M-Net, e.TV and SABC. She was also a non-executive director on the SABC board and held the role of chief executive officer at Broadcast Research Council (BRC) from 2015 to 2018.

O'Neil will be based at the company's Johannesburg office, joining insights and marketing services manager, Setshwano Setshogo.
