Joe Earley joins Disney+
The Hollywood Reporter has stated that Jackal Group president Joe Earley will serve as the executive VP of marketing and operations for Disney's forthcoming direct-to-consumer video platform, Disney+. Reporting to Disney+ content and marketing president Ricky Strauss, Earley will lead content and brand marketing for Disney+.
He will also work closely with Disney Streaming Services' customer acquisition marketing group and oversee operations related to programming from Disney content groups as well as third-party entities.
The platform is expected to launch in late 2019.
