The Sun is shining brightly!
The Daily Sun was a winner in the latest ABCs, selling an average of 364 356 newspapers a day during July to December 2004. This was 62 491 up over the sales for the first six months of the year. It was also 128 970 up from the sales for the same period in 2003. And as Publisher Deon du Plessis points out: "Our latest audited sales, therefore, are just about equal to the figures for the Star, Sowetan and Citizen combined! And we are still growing fast. Our latest (unaudited) record sale, on Friday, 11 February 2005, was 461 885!
