Massive price hike for Mondi newsprint
The price of newsprint from Anglo subsidiary Mondi is set for a 24% increase at the end of February. Business Day editor Peter Bruce says that the hike, together with the decrease in adspend, put newspapers under pressure to the point where "our very democracy is at stake."
