Vodacom's Grid goes public
Vodacom this week kicked off the public launch of the website and WAP version of its mobile social network, The Grid, with two campaigns. The first is a "fresher's guide" – blips dropped all over campus showing social hotspots such as pubs– running at certain universities over the next few weeks. Secondly, users stand the chance of winning a Nintendo Wii by registering and using the WAP version and also by inviting friends to join.
