OR Tambo International prepares to welcome BRICS delegates

The OR Tambo International Airport has been working with government agencies on operational readiness and contingency planning as it welcomes delegates who are attending the 10th BRICS Summit.

At least 2,500 delegates, including some 20 heads of state, are expected to attend the BRICS Summit, which is being held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg from 25 July 2018. The OR Tambo International management welcomed the first of about 1,600 delegates on 24 July 2018.
