From Monday, 1 September 2008, well-known SuperSport presenter and former professional cyclist Owen Hannie will be joining 5FM's (Sport)5 team as the sports presenter on the Fresh Drive Team, weekdays between 3pm and 7pm. He replaces Mlu Dlukulu, who will continue to host The Phat Show with Mlu, on Saturdays from 1am to 4am. The 5FM sports team already includes sports journalist and presenter Sias du Plessis, on 5FM mornings with Gareth Cliff, as well as former Springbok hooker Owen Nkumane, who provides insights on sporting fixtures over the weekend.
