Icasa to issue seven more radio licences

In the next two years the Independent Communications Authority of SA (Icasa) will be inviting applications for seven new commercial radio licences. The licences will be issued to broadcasting stations in secondary commercial markets, that is, areas outside of the primary markets of Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town, in four provinces, namely Limpopo, Northern Cape and North West.
